OMNISCANNER

The OMNIRemote icon on the right side indicates the wiring at the

OMNIRemote end of the cable link.

Correct connectivity:

The measured lengths of pairs 1-2, 3-6, 4-5, and 7-8 are shown on the left side of

the Wiremap.

If the selected cable is shielded or screened, shield continuity will be measured,

and if the shield fails the test, Wiremap will display the error.

Wire is open:

Wiremap checks the continuity of each wire.

In this example, there is no line between pin 5 at each end, which indicates a

break in connection. Use the number on the left side of the screen to find the

exact location of the open. For example if 36 ft is displayed, the open can be found

36 feet away from OMNIScanner.
